Kye Bay is the beach that everyone remembers from their childhood - miles of sand, and no one else there except you and your friends, having the time of your life. Teens remember the fun they had there, children remember the friends they made there, and adults can relax knowing their children are safe and sound, and clearly in sight!, from the comfort of the beach or the Reader's Garden. Saturday - check in

On Sunday morning in the patio garden area, our traditional family pancake breakfast is served - hot buttermilk pancakes with Kye Bay's unique lemon juice and brown sugar, apple juice and hot coffee. A great way to start your first day at the beach.

Wednesday potluck dinners in the patio garden area always guarantee a host of delightful delicacies from the kitchens of the cottages and hot off the grill. Recipes brought from around the world by our guests ensure it's always a surprise. Barbequed duck anyone? Or is that a hamburger?

Early morning brings the aroma of your freshly-brewed coffee, as adult guests rouse from their slumbers to greet yet another sunny new day. Coffee, conversation, comfort - its really the only way to begin in the Secret Summer Kingdom of Kye Bay.

On Friday afternoon, as your week at Kye Bay comes to a close, you will be our guests for a fashionable and civilized High Tea while overlooking the beach and ocean. With Palm Court music playing gently in the background, you will enjoy the quiet and contemplative pleasures of High Tea on the patio garden area, and drink in the rugged beauty of the Straits of Georgia. Fresh-baked scones with imported Devon Cream, with a recently preserved fruit jam or jelly or perhaps a dab of our trademark lime curd. A tray of treats selected from Kye Bay's Nakeestla Celebration Cookbook always accompany this event: home-made truffles, Kye Bay bars, oatcakes with jam, or perhaps one of our special pastries.
